Chaplains offer pastoral support and guidance to current and former NSWPF employees and their families during challenging times, significant incidents, and in times of personal need. The chaplaincy service is available at any time ongoing after leaving NSWPF.

An internal support service that provides information, advice and the coordination of support services for families of NSWPF employees. Available for 12 months after last day of service with NSWPF. More information about Family Support.
The following support services provided by Converge International are available for all former NSWPF employees for up to five years from their date of disengagement from NSW Police Force employment:
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

EAP is provided by an external provider with access to skilled clinicians across the state. EAP offers a range of support services for all NSWPF employees and their immediate family members. EAP remains available to employees only for up to 5 years post disengagement. This support is through free, confidential short-term counselling and/or coaching that can help address issues such as workplace stress, health, financial, caregiver, or other life challenges. EAP includes 6 sessions every 2 years via face to face, telephone, or video link. Crisis counselling is available 24/7. Download the free app on your apple or android device, ‘EAP CONNECT APP’.

Legal Support

Legal support provides valuable guidance in key areas and the resources and insights necessary to take informed next steps, empowering you to make informed decisions. Legal Support does not offer direct legal advice and is not available for criminal matters or matters involving the NSWPF workplace. Does not impact EAP allocation. Conflict Support

Conflict support can provide tailored strategies, tools and coaching to help individuals resolve workplace and personal conflicts effectively. Does not impact EAP allocation. First Nations Helpline
