Policing in a culturally, linguistically and religiously diverse society

NSW Police Force is committed to:
  • Building trust and partnerships with culturally diverse communities through respect, dialogue, cooperation, appropriate and effective consultation and communication;
  • Reducing crime and violence and the community’s fear of crime; and
  • Building a committed and confident workforce by recruiting and retaining the right people, and fully developing the talents of people we have by providing career and development opportunities as well as reward and recognition for competent practices.

NSW Police Force commitment to the Principles of Multiculturalism is outlined in the NSW Police Priorities for Working in a Culturally, Linguistically and Religiously Diverse Society.
