The Multicultural Community Liaison Officer (MCLO) program employs civilian officers at the local level to work with communities and police to strengthen links and facilitate communication and interaction between police and culturally and linguistically diverse communities. MCLOs identify local priorities for police and culturally diverse communities, encourage partnerships and forge better relationships between police officers and members of the community.

You can speak to a MCLO if you need help to report a crime to police, or raise any issues of concern with police. MCLOs are located at the following Local Area Commands:

Bankstown, Blacktown, Burwood, Cabramatta, Campbelltown, Ashfield, Macquarie Fields, Eastwood, Fairfield, Flemington (Auburn), Liverpool, Holroyd (Merrylands), Kuring-gai (Hornsby), Mt.Druitt, Campsie, Green Valley, Rosehill (Granville), City Central (Darling Harbour), Wollongong, St. George (Kogarah), Hurstville, Parramatta, Northern Beaches (Dee Why), Manly, Marrickville, and North Shore (Chatswood).
