A man will appear in court today charged as part of an investigation into the alleged sexual touching of two women.

Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 33-year-old man at home in Mays Hill on Wednesday 1 September 2021.

Police will allege in court that the incidents occurred at a home in Bankstown and a church at Mangrove on the state’s Central Coast, while the man was undertaking duties as a priest between August 2019 and February 2020.

He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Bankstown Local Court today (Thursday 7 October 2021).

Inquiries are continuing.
