Investigation underway following stabbing - Eagle Vale

An investigation is underway following a stabbing at Eagle Vale.

Emergency services were called to the car park of a sporting complex on Eagle Vale Drive just before 3.30pm today (Sunday 2 May 2021) following reports of a brawl.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and located a man with multiple stab wounds.

The man, aged 21, was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he underwent surgery.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

A crime scene was established, which will be examined by forensic officers, and an investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.

As inquiries continue, there is no indication the incident was linked to the sporting event.
