Three injured in two-car crash - Blakehurst

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash which has blocked all northbound lanes of the Princes Highway at Blakehurst.

The crash happened shortly before 11.30pm (Friday 21 May 2021), when a southbound sedan and a northbound hatchback collided in the northbound lanes, about 300m south of Beach Road.

The driver of the sedan is trapped and critically injured. Emergency personnel are working to free the man.

Two women in the hatchback are also being treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

All northbound lanes of the Princes Highway are blocked, with only one lane operating southbound.

It’s expected traffic will be impacted in the area for some hours and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
