Police release image after child approach - Sydney City PAC

Police have released images of a man who they believe can help with their investigation into a child approach in the Sydney CBD yesterday.

About 3.10pm (Thursday 11 March 2021), a 16-year-old girl was walking on Park Street when she was approached by a man, not known to her.

Police were told the man struck up a conversation with the girl, before allegedly making inappropriate comments towards her. The girl alerted a female passer-by, who walked with her to a bus stop.

When she arrived home, the girl informed her family, who reported the incident to police. Sydney City Police Area Command have commenced an investigation.

The man police believe can help with inquiries is described as being Asian in appearance, aged between 20-30, 175cm tall, medium build, medium length, black hair and a chubby face. He was last seen wearing a flouro top (yellow & black) and dark coloured pants.
