Three charged after drugs, loaded firearm located - Sydney CBD

Two men and a woman will face court after a loaded firearm, drugs and cash were located in luggage at a Sydney CBD hotel.
About 1pm yesterday (Tuesday 9 March 2021), officers from Sydney City Police Area Command attended the hotel on Liverpool Street, as part of ongoing operations into the supply of prohibited drugs in the area.
Police stopped two men – aged 28 and 37 – and a 27-year-old woman, before searches were conducted.
Following a further search of luggage, police located methylamphetamine, MDMA, cocaine, MDMA, and a loaded pistol. The items were seized for forensic examination.
All three were arrested and taken to Day Street Police Station.
The older man has been charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity), possess prohibited drug, and supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity).
The younger man has been charged with supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity), deal with property proceeds of crime, and supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity).
The woman has been charged with possess prescribed restricted substance.
They have all been refused bail to appear at Central Local Court today (Wednesday 10 March 2021).
