Man charged with sexual touching and assault - Sydney City PAC

A man will face court today charged with serious offences following alleged incidents in Sydney’s east and the CBD yesterday.
About 3.10pm (Wednesday 21 April 2021), police responded to reports of an alleged assault of a toddler on George Street, Haymarket.
Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command attended and were told a man approached a woman pushing a two-year-old boy in a pram and pinched the boy on the leg several times.
A member of the public attempted to restrain the man, but he fled the scene.
Police located the man a short time later and arrested him on Broadway, before he was taken to Day Street Police Station.
While investigating, police established the man had allegedly been involved in three other incidents earlier in the day.
About 10.40am (Wednesday 21 April 2021), a 21-year-old woman was allegedly grabbed on the buttocks by an unknown man at a shopping centre on Oxford Street, Bondi Junction.
The man then allegedly approached woman pushing a pram and touched a baby, before entering a bathroom.
A short time later, the man exited the bathroom and allegedly attempted to touch a 32-year-old woman on the shoulder, before he left the scene.
Following inquiries, a 33-year-old man, from South Coogee, was charged with sexual touching without consent, common assault (x 3), trespass and breach of bail.
He was refused bail to appear at Central Local Court today (Thursday 22 April 2021).
