A former netball coach has been charged with further offences following an investigation into alleged sexual touching offences.

In October last year, detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad established Strike Force Biscoe to investigate reports three teenage girls had been sexually touched by a man who was known to them.

In December, detectives arrested a 70-year-old man at Kogarah Police Station and charged him with nine offences. He remains before the court.

As part of ongoing investigations, police received further reports that two girls were sexually touched by a man at a church in Beverly Hills between December 2016 and December 2020.

Following extensive inquiries, the 70-year-old man was arrested at Hurstville Police Station about 8.15am on Thursday (25 March 2021).

He was taken to Kogarah Police Station where he was charged with two counts of indecent assault person under 16 years of age, assault with act of indecency and sexually touch another person without consent.

The man was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday 13 April 2021.
