Woman dies after truck crash - Jerseyville

A woman has died after a two-truck crash in the state’s north last week.

About 3.30pm on Friday 28 November 2025, emergency services were called to South West Rocks Road, Jerseyville, about 30km south of Kempsey, following reports of a crash.

On arrival, officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District were told two trucks had collided head-on, with one truck catching alight.

Both drivers – a 33-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman – were freed by members of the public before being flown to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.

NSW Fire and Rescue extinguished the blaze.

A crime scene was established and investigations commenced by the Crash Investigation Unit and specialist officers.

On Saturday 29 November 2025, police were notified the 43-year-old woman has died in the hospital.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
