PLEASE NOTE: The crime scene was on the border between Rouse Hill and Beaumont Hills, but deemed from now on to be Rouse Hill.

A teenage boy has been charged following a fatal stabbing in Rouse Hill yesterday.

About 4.20pm (Monday 24 November 2025), emergency services were called to Bruce Purser Reserve on Caballo Street following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command arrived to find a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound to his leg.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

Police established a crime scene, and detectives from The Hills – with assistance from State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad – commenced an investigation under Strike Force Crawton into the incident.

About 7.30pm, a 15-year-old boy was arrested after attending a police station in Sydney’s north-west.

Following inquiries, that boy has now been charged with murder.

He has been refused bail to appear in a children’s court later today (Tuesday 25 November 2025).
