Six people charged following investigation into drug supply - Strike Force Contine

Six people have been charged following an investigation into large scale drug supply in the St George area, under Strike Force Contine.

Officers attached to St George Police Area Command established Strike Force Contine to investigate the alleged large-scale supply of drugs, mainly methylamphetamine and heroin, within the Sydney Metropolitan area.

Following extensive inquiries, investigators – with the assistance of Campsie Detectives, Dog unit, Public Order and Riot Squad (PORS), Operation ODIN, and South West Metropolitan, Bankstown and Central North and South Region Enforcement Squads (RES) – executed five searches at Wiley Park, Georges Hall, Greenfield Park, Smithfield and Belfield yesterday morning (Tuesday 21 October 2025).

During the search warrants, police located and seized 1.088kg methylamphetamine, 746g cocaine, 257g heroin, 16g MDMA, 486g cannabis, an amount of illegal cigarettes, $12,000 cash, a gel blaster and items consistent with the supply of drugs.

Three people – a 47-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman arrested at the Greenfield Park address and a 52-year-old man arrested at the Smithfield address – were taken to Cabramatta Police Station.

A 70-year-old man arrested at Belfield and a 66-year-old man arrested at Wiley Park were both taken to Campsie Police Station.

A 45-year-old woman was arrested at the Georges Hall address and taken to Bankstown Police Station.

The 47-year-old was charged with 16 offences including:

• Supply prohibited drug - large commercial quantity (two counts),

• Supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis (four counts),

• Supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity (two counts),

• Supply prohibited drug - indictable quantity (two counts),

• Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime,

• Owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises,

• Possess unauthorised firearm,

• Possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit,

• Possess prohibited drug, and

• Larceny value less than $2000.

The 44-year-old was charged with 12 offences including:

• Take part supply prohibited drug - large commercial quantity (two counts),

• Supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis (three counts),

• Supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity (two counts),

• Supply prohibited drug - indictable quantity (two counts),

• Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime,

• Owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises, and

• Possess prohibited drug.

They were both refused bail to appear before Fairfield Local Court today (Wednesday 22 October 2025).

The 52-year-old man was charged with seven offences including:

• Take part supply prohibited drug - large commercial quantity (two counts)

• Supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity,

• Supply prohibited drug - indictable quantity,

• Possess tablet press or drug encapsulator,

• Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, and

• Fail to comply digital evidence access order direction.

He appeared at Fairfield Local Court yesterday, where he was formally refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Thursday 18 December 2025.

The 70-year-old man was charged with eight offences including:

• Supply prohibited drug - large commercial quantity,

• Supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity,

• Supply prohibited drug indictable quantity (two counts),

• Supply prohibited plant,

• Owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises,

• Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, and

• Goods suspected stolen in/on premises.

The 66-year-old man was charged with 14 offences including:

• Take part supply prohibited drug - large commercial quantity (two counts),

• Supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis (four counts),

• Supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity (four counts),

• Possess prohibited drug (two counts),

• Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, and

• Owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises.

The 45-year-old woman was charged with 11 offences:

• Supply prohibited drug - large commercial quantity (two counts),

• Supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis (three counts),

• Supply prohibited drug indicatable quantity (three counts),

• Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime,

• Owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises, and

• Fail to comply digital evidence access order direction.

All three were refused bail to appear before Bankstown Local Court today.
