Cybercrime Squad detectives have arrested a man on an outstanding warrant in Sydney’s west.
The man was wanted by virtue of an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear before the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).
Following extensive inquiries by ICAC and State Crime Command’s Cybercrime Squad to locate the man, about 1.35pm today (Friday 26 September 2025) detectives – assisted by Raptor Squad – arrested a 38-year-old in Lakemba.
He was taken to Campsie Police Station where the warrant was executed, which authorises police to detain the man to ensure his appearance before the ICAC inquiry.
No criminal charges have been laid.
