Raptor Squad charge eleven men over two separate brawls - The Entrance and Huskisson

Raptor Squad officers have charged eleven people following two separate brawls that occurred in the last two months.

In the first incident, about 5.55pm on Friday 11 July 2025, police were called to a hotel on The Entrance Road, The Entrance, following reports of a brawl.

Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended and were told a group of people were involved in a brawl before leaving the scene prior to the arrival of police.

Police commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident, before Raptor Squad North officers took carriage of the matter.


Following inquiries, yesterday morning (Tuesday 16 September 2025), police executed five search warrants at properties in The Entrance, Killarney Vale, Long Jetty and Bateau Bay.

Four men – two aged 18, one aged 19 and another aged 23 – were arrested and were taken to Wyong Police Station.

Two other men – aged 21 and 19 – were also arrested and taken to Gosford Police Station.

The 19-year-old man was charged with four counts of possess prohibited drug, affray, possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, use offensive weapon in company with intent to commit indictable offence, supply prohibited drug – small quantity, and recklessly deal with proceeds of crime.

One of the 18-year-old men was charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug, affray, supply prohibited drug – small quantity, recklessly deal with proceeds of crime and possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit.

They were both refused bail to appear before Bail Division Local Court 6 today (Wednesday 17 September 2025).

The second 18-year-old man was charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug and affray.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before Wyong Local Court on Wednesday 22 October 2025.

The 23-year-old man was charged with affray.

He was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today.

The 21- and 19-year-olds were both charged with affray.

They were both refused bail to appear before Bail Division Local Court 6 today.

In the second incident, about 9.10pm on Saturday 9 August 2025, police were called to Owen Street, Huskisson, following reports of a large brawl.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended and were told the brawl involved a number of people from two groups.

Police commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, before Raptor Squad South officers took carriage of the matter.

Following inquiries, about 6am yesterday, Raptor Squad South officers executed six search warrants at properties in Woollamia, North Nowra, Sanctuary Point and Nowra.

During the search at North Nowra, police located and seized a replica firearm and an amount of steroids. Several mobile phones were also seized during the search warrants.

Five men – aged 21, 23, 24, 38 and 52 - were arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station, where they were all charged with one count of affray.

The 38-year-old man was refused bail and appeared before Bail Division Court 3 yesterday, where he was granted conditional bail to appear before Nowra Local Court on Tuesday 23 September 2025.

The 21 and 23-year-old men were granted conditional bail to appear before Nowra Local Court on Tuesday 7 October 2025.

The 24 and 52-year-old men were granted conditional bail to appear before Nowra Local Court on Tuesday 14 October 2025.

Investigations are ongoing.
