Appeal to locate man missing from Sydney's CBD

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s CBD.

Waverly Jackson, aged 49, was last seen at Central Railway Station, about 7.40am on Sunday 17 August 2025.

Officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Waverly’s welfare.

Waverly is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm – 170cm tall, of large build, with red/ginger hair, beard and moustache.

He was last seen wearing a bright pink jumper, light-grey pants and black sneakers.

Waverly is believed to frequent the rail network near Kings Park, Blacktown, Rockdale, Brighton Le Sands and Sydney CBD areas.
