Missing man from Dee Why found

A man missing from Sydney’s northern beaches has been located safe and well.

The 30-year-old man was last seen at a home on Tasman Street, Dee Why, about 7.30pm on Tuesday 27 August 2024.

When he was unable to be located or contacted, he was reported missing to officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him.

Following inquiries and an appeal for assistance, the man was located in Dee Why about 1.30am (Wednesday 28 August 2024).

Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance.
