Man charged following intimidation - Police Transport Command

A man will face court following an alleged intimidation on a train in Sydney last month.
On Saturday (13 July 2024), officers attached to Police Transport Command commenced an investigation following reports of an intimidation on a train between Town Hall Railway Station and Liverpool Railway Station.
Police were told a 12-year-old girl was allegedly approached by a man about 5pm on Saturday (13 July 2024).
Following extensive inquiries, police arrested a 24-year-old man in Macquarie Fields, about 9.30am on Thursday (22 August 2024).
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with procure child under 14 years for unlawful sexual activity, stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm, intentionally sexually touch older than or equal to 10 years and younger than 16 years and common assault.
He was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Friday (23 August 2024).
