COMFIT image released as investigations into sexual assault continues - Camperdown

Detectives investigating the sexual assault of a woman at Camperdown earlier this year have released a COMFIT image of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries.

In March this year, detectives from Inner West Police Area Command commenced an investigation following reports a woman had been sexually assaulted at Camperdown.

Investigators have been told the 35-year-old woman was walking along Missenden Road about 1.30pm on Sunday 11 February 2024, when she was grabbed by a man and pulled into a nearby laneway where she was sexually assaulted.

As investigations continue, detectives have released a COMFIT image of a man who may be able to assist with ongoing inquiries.

The man depicted in the COMFIT image is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 60s, with short slicked back brown hair.

He is believed to have been wearing a black singlet, black tracksuit pants and thongs.
