Missing woman from Turramurra located safe

A woman missing from the Sydney’s lower north shore has been found safe.

The 76-year-old was last seen at a nursing home on Bobbin Head Road, Turramurra at 7:40pm yesterday (Wednesday 24 April 2024).

When she failed to return and could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Kuring Gai Police Area Command were notified and commenced enquiries into her whereabouts.

Following inquiries, the woman was located safe overnight.

Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
