Teenage girl missing from Sutherland found

A girl missing from the Sutherland Shire has been located safe and well.

The 14-year-old was last seen in Gymea on Monday 8 April 2024.

When she was unable to be located, officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Following inquiries and an appeal for assistance, she was located in Sutherland about 11.30pm (Tuesday 9 April 2024).

Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance.
