Man charged over alleged assault of NSW Ambulance paramedic - Mt Druitt PAC

A man has been charged over alleged assault of an NSW Ambulance paramedic last month.

Officers attached to Mt Druitt Police Area Command commenced an investigation after being notified of the alleged sexual touching incident.

Police were told NSW Ambulance paramedics were conveying a man to Nepean Hospital when he allegedly threatened and sexually touched a female paramedic whilst inside the ambulance on Saturday 30 March 2024.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 31-year-old man at a home on Melkarth Place, Doonside, about 1.15pm today (Monday 8 April 2024).

He was taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was charged with sexually touch another person without consent, assault frontline emergency worker-no actual bodily harm and intimidate frontline emergency worker- no actual bodily harm caused.

He was refused bail to appear before Blacktown Local Court tomorrow (Tuesday 9 April 2024).
