Appeal to locate man missing from Taree

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Taree area in the state’s north.

Jay Porter-Wallace, 42, was last seen at York Street, Taree, about 3.30pm on Thursday 4 April 2024.

When he was unable to be located, officers from Manning Great Lakes Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Jay’s welfare.

Jay is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165-170cm tall, of slim build, with dark hair and dark eyes. When last seen he was wearing long pants, a black long-sleeved T-shirt and a black cap.

He is believed to be in the Forster area.
