Fatal single vehicle crash - St George PAC

A woman has died following a single vehicle crash in Sydney’s South West.

About 9.30pm (Tuesday 2 April 2024), emergency services responded to reports of that a SUV had left the roadway and crashed into a wall on King Georges Road, South Hurstville.

A passenger in the SUV – a 75-year-old woman – died at the scene.

The 86-year-old male driver was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition.

A crime scene has been established and officers from St George Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

Localised traffic is affected, and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
