Appeal to locate man missing from Prairiewood

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s south west.

Anthony Scerri, aged 54, was last seen on Calabria Lane, Prairiewood, about 10am on Sunday (27 July 2025).

Officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Anthony’s welfare.

Anthony is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm – 175cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue and grey knitted cardigan.

Anthony is known to frequent the Fairfield and Prairiewood areas.
