Appeal to locate man missing from Merrylands West

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s west.

Hassan Dawlat, aged 33, was last seen in Desmond Street, Merrylands West, about 4pm last Wednesday (23 July 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified yesterday (Monday 28 July 2025), and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Hassan’s welfare as he lives with a number of health conditions which requires daily medication.

Hassan is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, with a medium build, dark hair and eyes.

When last seen he was wearing a blue-coloured jacket and black track pants.

Hassan is known to frequent the Merrylands, Granville and Auburn areas.
