Rider dies following motorcycle crash - Bimbimbie

A rider has died after crashing on the state’s south coast today.

About 8:45am (Sunday 27 July 2025), emergency services were called to Bimbimbie Road, Bimbimbie, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District arrived to find a motorcycle had crashed after leaving the road.

The rider – a 23-year-old man from Canberra – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for serious injuries, however; he died at the scene.

Police established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the incident.

As investigations continue, detectives are urging anyone with dashcam vision, CCTV footage or information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
