Two charged with drug offences in Sydney's southwest - Strike Force Greentree

Police have charged a further two men as an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs in Sydney’s southwest continues.
In December 2024, officers attached to the Central Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad (RES) established Strike Force Greentree, to investigate numerous persons and syndicates advertising prohibited drugs for sale on an open-source website.
About 7.30am on Wednesday 23 July 2025, police executed a search warrant at a home on Flatrock Road, Kingsgrove, where they allegedly located and seized about 35kg of cannabis leaf, 246 vials of cannabis oil, an amount of cocaine and $5000 in cash.
A 40-year-old man was arrested and taken to Campsie Police Station.
He was charged with supply prohibited drug more than or equal to large commercial quantity, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, supply prohibited drug more than or equal to commercial quantity (two counts), deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000 and less than $5000, and possess prohibited drug.
Police simultaneously executed a search warrant at a home on Parkland Avenue, Punchbowl, where they allegedly located and seized about 1.75kg of cocaine, 341g of cannabis, more than $14k in cash and knuckle dusters.
A 42-year-old man was arrested and taken to Campsie Police Station
He was charged with deal with property proceeds of crime more than or equal to $100,000, supply prohibited drug more than small and less than or equal to indictable quantity, supply prohibited drug more than indictable and less than commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug more than or equal to large commercial quantity, deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000 and more than $5000, and possess prohibited drug.
They were both refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court today (Thursday 24 July 2025).
