Appeal to locate elderly woman with dementia - Five Dock

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman with dementia missing from the Five Dock area.

Li Zhang, aged 77, was last seen at a home on Myler Street, Five Dock, about 4.15pm today (Monday 14 July 2025).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Burwood Police Area Command were notified who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Li’s welfare as she lives with dementia.

Li is described as being of Asian appearance, 155cm tall, thin build with short grey/white hair.

She was last seen wearing a brown beanie.

Li only moved into the area recently and is not familiar with the area.
