Two charged over alleged affray Granville - Police Transport Command

Two men have been charged over an alleged affray at a train station in Sydney’s west earlier this year.
On Sunday 25 May 2025, officers attached to the Police Transport Command North West Sector commenced an investigation into an alleged brawl at Granville Railway Station about 10am on the same day.
Police were told a 40-year-old man was allegedly involved in a fight with two men – who were unknown to him – who left the scene before the arrival of police.
The 40-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
As a part of ongoing investigations, about 4pm on Wednesday 25 June 2025, police arrested a 26-year-old man on Brooks Street, Macquarie Fields.
He was taken to Macquarie Fields Police Station where he was charged with affray.
Following further inquiries, about 4.10pm on Tuesday 8 July 2025, police arrested a 24-year-old man on Ironbark Circuit, Macquarie Fields.
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station and charged with affray.
They were both granted conditional bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Thursday 17 July 2025.
