Woman charged following alleged domestic stabbing - Chester Hill

A woman will face court after a man was allegedly stabbed following a domestic violence incident in Sydney’s southwest last week.
About 10:15pm on Wednesday 25 June 2025, emergency services were called to Waldron Road, Chester Hill, following a concern for welfare report.
On arrival, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command located a 25-year-old man with a stab wound to his head.
An 18-year-old woman – known to the man, and who was allegedly at the scene at the time – left prior to police arrival.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene was established, and an investigation into the incident commenced.
Following inquiries, about 06:20am today (Thursday 3 July 2025), detectives attended a unit in George Street, Liverpool and arrested an 18-year-old woman.
She was taken to Liverpool Police Station where she was charged with Reckless wounding (DV) and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV).
She was refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Friday 4 July 2025).
