Woman charged over multiple assaults - Eastern Beaches PAC

A woman will face court over multiple assaults in Sydney’s east earlier this week.

On Wednesday 25 June 2025, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command commenced an investigation following reports of multiple people were allegedly assaulted by a woman in Kingsford and Maroubra area.

  • About 3.35pm on Wednesday 25 June 2025, a 22-year-old woman was walking on Anzac Parade, Maroubra, when she was assaulted by an unknown woman.
  • About 5.30pm on the same day, a 25-year-old woman was assaulted by an unknown woman at a light rail stop on Anzac Parade, Kingsford.
  • About 6.45pm on the same day, a 23-year-old female staff at a supermarket on Anzac Parade, Kingsford, was assaulted by an unknown female customer.
  • About 9.20pm on the same day, a 19-year-old woman was assaulted by an unknown woman at a light rail stop on Anzac Parade, Kingsford.

Police will allege the incidents were committed by one person.

Following inquiries, about 7.45am today (Friday 27 June 2025), police arrested a 57-year-old woman on Anzac Parade, Kingsford.

She was taken to Maroubra Police Station where she was charged with three counts of common assault, destroy or damage property, assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The woman was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court tomorrow (Saturday 28 June 2025).
