Appeal for information after alleged affray - Granville

Investigators are appealing for public assistance to identify two men who may be able to assist with inquiries into an alleged affray incident in Sydney’s south west.

About 10am on Sunday 25 May 2025, emergency services were called to Granville Railway Station, following reports of a brawl.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 40-year-old man for head injuries, before he was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers attached to the Police Transport Command North West Sector have commenced an investigation into the incident.

As inquiries continue, police have issued CCTV images of men who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.

The first man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance and aged in his 20s, with medium build, and short black hair shaved at the sides with a rat’s tail at the back.

He is depicted wearing a black jumper, black ‘The North Face’ vest over the jumper and white shoes, while carrying a black ‘Adidas’ bum bag.

The second man is described as being Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, aged in his 20s and taller than the first man.

He is depicted wearing a maroon hooded ‘adidas’ jumper, blue jeans and black shoes, while carrying a grey shoulder bag.
