Appeal to locate woman missing from Taree

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman reported missing from the state’s Mid North Coast.
Joanne Taylor, aged 64, was last seen at an address on Rachel Close, Taree, about 8pm yesterday (Wednesday 18 June 2025).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Manning/Great Lakes Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Joanne’s welfare as her disappearance is out of character.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with medium build, blue eyes and brown hair.
She was last seen wearing a faded orange dressing gown and pink slippers, but may have changed her clothes.
