Wanted man charged over alleged DV offences - Orange

A man will face court today charged over an outstanding warrant for alleged domestic violence offences committed in the state’s Central West.

Police commenced an investigation into alleged domestic violence incidents that occurred over several days in Orange between 30 May 2025 and 4 June 2025.

Following inquiries, about 1.10pm yesterday (Wednesday 18 June 2025), officers attached to the Western Region Domestic Violence High Risk Offender Team with the assistance of Central West Police District attended a home on Scarborough Street, Orange, and arrested a 20-year-old man.

The 20-year-old was taken to Orange Police Station where the warrant was executed and he was charged with,

  • contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (four counts)
  • stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (two counts)
  • common assault (three counts)
  • destroy or damage property (three counts), and
  • assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was refused bail to appear at Orange Local Court today (Thursday 19 June 2025).
