Appeal to locate girl missing from Auburn

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl reported missing from Sydney’s south west.

Helen Al Hasan, aged 15, was last seen on Hunter Street, Auburn, about 8.30am on Thursday 12 June 2025.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.

Helen is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance with a slim build, long black hair and fair complexion.

She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black pants with green and white stripes on the outer leg, and carrying a black Nike backpack.

She is believed to have recently attended Fairfield and Fairfield Field Heights.
