Two charged following investigation into the alleged supply of prohibited drugs in the Bourke area.

In April 2025, officers attached to Central North Police District established Strike Force Hargen to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs in the Bourke area.

About 6.30am on Tuesday 3 June 2025, police executed a search warrant at a home on Wortumertie Street, Bourke, to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs.

Police located and seized, heroin, cash, cannabis, and drug paraphernalia.

A man aged 46 and a woman aged 59 were both issued a Court Attendance Notice for possess prohibited drug.

They will appear at Bourke Local Court on Thursday 7 August 2025.
