Man arrested after body located in Croydon Park

A man has been arrested after a body was located at a home in Sydney’s south west.

Just after 5pm today (Monday 2 June 2025), emergency services were called to a home on Kembla Street, Croydon Park, following a concern for welfare report.

Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command attended and found the body of man who is yet to be formally identified, however believed to be aged in his 50s – with stab wounds.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Burwood Police Station, where inquiries continue.

A crime scene has been established and investigations commenced into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
