Charges after Forbes home searched, drugs seized

A man is due to appear in court today charged after a police operation at Forbes this morning.

Acting on information provided, officers attached to Central West Police District established a perimeter around a home in Crouch Street about 9.30am (Tuesday 27 May 2025).

After five people left the premises, police were granted permission to search the home, arresting a 24-year-old man in a bedroom.

He was taken to Forbes Police Station where he was charged with two outstanding arrest warrants for offences including stalk/intimate, use offensive weapons with intent to commit indictable offence, and being armed with intent to commit indictable offence.

During a search of the home, police seized knuckle dusters, MDMA and cannabis.

The man was refused bail to appear in Forbes Local Court today (Tuesday 27 May 2025).
