Appeal to locate man missing from Parramatta

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s west.

Ahmid Karimi, aged 43, was last seen at North Parramatta on Sunday 25 May 2025.

When he failed to return home and could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Ahmid is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean in appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with black hair.

It is unknown what he was last seen wearing.

Ahmid is believed to be travelling in a white Toyota Hiace van with NSW registration DJ 00 SG. The vehicle is distinctive by having a high roof.
