Detectives have charged three men with affray following a brawl at a service station in Sydney’s south-west.
About 9pm on Thursday 15 May 2025, a 37-year-old man attended a carwash at a service station on Canterbury Road, Belmore.
While there he was approached in the store by an unknown man, and the pair had a verbal argument.
The unknown man left before returning a short time later, with two other unknown males and they approached the 37-year-old man before allegedly seriously assaulting him.
Officers from Campsie Police Area Command attended; however, all involved parties had left.
Following inquiries, police attended a hospital and spoke to the 37-year-old man who was being treated for facial injuries and a fractured arm. He has since been discharged.
Detectives commenced an investigation, assisted by the State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad.
Following inquiries, three men – aged 35, 27 and 22 – were arrested after attending Campsie and Castle Hill Police Stations last night (Saturday 24 May 2026).
They were all charged with affray and refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Sunday 25 May 2025).
Inquiries continue.
