Man dies when trucks collide - Greystanes

A man has died when two trucks collided in Sydney’s west this morning.

About 4.20am today, (Friday 23 May 2025), emergency services were called to Greystanes Road, Greystanes, following reports of a crash.

On arrival, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command found two trucks had collided.

A man who was a passenger in one of the trucks died at the scene. He has not yet been formally identified.

Both drivers escaped injury. They were taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash, with assistance from officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

Greystanes Road is closed between Bathurst Street and Old Prospect Road.
