Appeal to locate man missing from Illawarra region

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man reported missing from the Illawarra area.

Ronny Zalunardo, 54, was last seen shortly after midnight today (Sunday 18 May 2025), at a home in Oak Flats. When he could not be contacted, he was reported missing and officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Mr Zalunardo’s family have concerns for his welfare.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, with a medium build, and short grey hair. It’s unknown what he was wearing at the time. He may be driving a white Toyota Hiace campervan with NSW registration, DF33JR.

He is known to frequent the Illawarra and Shoalhaven areas.
