Appeal to locate wanted man - Eastern Beaches PAC

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man wanted on outstanding warrants in Sydney’s east.

Herman Smith, aged 52, is wanted by virtue of outstanding arrest warrants relating to alleged serious domestic violence offences.

Smith was last seen on High Street, Randwick, about 3pm today (Sunday 18 May 2025).

Police have released images of the man as inquiries continue to locate him.

Smith is described as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 165cm, solid build, dark brown complexion, brown eyes and short grey hair.

He is known to frequent the Eastern Suburbs, Mascot, Redfern, Newtown and Sydney CBD.

Anyone who sees him is urged not to approach him but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact Eastern Beaches Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
