Woman dies after crash - Appin

A woman has died following a crash in Sydney’s southwest today.

About 1.15pm (Thursday 15 May 2025), emergency services were called to Appin Road, Appin, about 2km from the Appin Bypass, following reports of a single – vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and found a vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

The driver – and sole occupant – died at the scene.

A crime scene has been established as officers commenced an investigation into the circumstances into the incident.

Appin Road is closed for another two hours and diversions are in place.
