Appeal to locate teenage boy missing from Emu Plains

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a teenager missing from Sydney’s west.

Declan McKenzie, aged 16, was last seen at Emu Plains on Tuesday, 22 April 2025.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Declan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with dark brown, shoulder length hair.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and a black hat.

He is known to frequent the Penrith, Kingswood, Ingleburn and Waterloo areas.
