Appeal to locate elderly man missing from Toukley

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Toukley area.

Robert Reardon, aged 87, was last seen at Main Road, Toukley, about 4.00pm yesterday (Friday 9 May 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted and failed to return home, he was reported missing to officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Robert as his disappearance is out of character and he lives with a number of health conditions, including dementia.

Robert is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall, thin build, short white hair, medium complexion with blue-coloured eyes.

He was last seen wearing a cream cardigan and black jeans.

Inquiries by police have revealed he was driving a white 2015 Kia Cerato sedan with NSW registration CX 43 GC. This vehicle was seen travelling west along the Great Western Highway, Prospect about 11:50pm on the same day.

Robert is known to frequent the areas around Toukley.
