Four charged in Sydney by Drug and Firearms Squad over alleged drug supply in regional NSW

Drug and Firearms Squad detectives have charged four people in Sydney over their alleged role in the supply of prohibited drugs in regional NSW.
In July 2024, officers attached to Western region commenced Strike Force Meridan to investigate the organised supply of drugs in the Dubbo region.
As a result, a number of people were charged with drug related offences and remain before the courts.
As part of the State Crime Command’s surge deployment, Drug and Firearms Squad detectives established Strike Force Wayletts to identify and target Sydney based suppliers.
Following inquiries, strike force investigators executed four search warrants homes in Greenacre, Wiley Park, Lakemba and Condell Park just after 6am yesterday (Thursday 8 May 2025).
At Greenacre, a 34-year-old man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity, supply cannabis - indictable quantity, two counts of take part supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity, five counts of take part supply cannabis - indictable, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, and fail to comply digital evidence access order direction.
At Condell Park, a 38-year-old man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity, two counts of supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity, supply cannabis – indictable quantity, and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
At Wiley Park, a 20-year-old man was arrested and taken to Campsie Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity, two counts of supply cannabis – indictable quantity, participate criminal group contribute criminal, two counts of drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, learner not accompanied and learner driver not display "L" plates.
They were all refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court today (Friday 9 May 2025).
At Lakemba, a 16-year-old boy was arrested and taken to Campsie Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity, supply cannabis - indictable quantity, take part supply cannabis - indictable quantity and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at a children’s court on Friday 16 May 2025.
