Appeal to locate wanted man - Eastern Suburbs PAC

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a wanted man in the Sydney area.

Wade Smith, also known as Jeremy Lopez, aged 48, is wanted by virtue of four outstanding warrants in relation to alleged break and enter offences in Bondi Junction, Leichhardt, Pyrmont, Kirribilli, Chatswood, Crows Nest and Milsons Point areas since March 2025.

As inquiries continue, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command have released an image of Wade to locate him.

Wade is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 190cm tall, of medium build, with white hair and hazel eyes.

He is known to frequent the Sydney’s Inner City, Inner West, North Sydney, and Eastern suburbs.

Anyone who sees him is urged not to approach him but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately. Furthermore, anyone with information into his whereabouts is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information is managed on a confidential basis. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
