Appeal for information after pedestrian struck by car - Ashcroft

Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was seriously injured in Sydney’s south west.

About 7:30pm yesterday (Sunday 4 May 2025), emergency services were called to Maxwells Avenue, Ashcroft following reports of a pedestrian hit by a car.

On arrival, officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command found a woman, believed to be aged in her 20s, with serious injuries.

She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

Today, (Monday 5 May 2025), police have released CCTV vision of a vehicle seen travelling east on Maxwells Avenue, Ashcroft.

The vehicle is described as a gold-coloured sedan.

Police would like to speak to the driver, who may be able to assist with inquiries.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has commenced.
